Compostable bagasse packaging for hot takeaway food
Bagasse is the fibre left over once sugarcane has been pressed for juice. Instead of being burned as waste, it is pulped and moulded into rigid, naturally white or brown packaging. The result is a container that feels sturdy in the hand, holds heat well and resists grease and moisture — perfect for burgers, chips, kebabs, fried chicken and hot meals.
Clamshells, bowls and plates
Hinged clamshell boxes close securely without a separate lid, which makes them quick to pack at busy service times. Our range covers burger boxes, single and multi-compartment meal boxes, round bowls and plates. Compartment boxes keep sauces, rice and mains apart so food arrives looking as good as when it left the kitchen.
Heat and grease resistant
Bagasse withstands hot food and is generally microwave-safe for reheating. Its dense fibres absorb less grease than paper, so the box stays firm even with fried or saucy dishes.

Bagasse is plastic-free, made from a rapidly renewable by-product and compostable in commercial composting facilities. It is a direct replacement for polystyrene clamshells, which are banned for takeaway food in England.
